April Catch-Up:
A Quiet Shift Forward

This month’s been one of quiet progress — the kind that doesn’t shout, but settles in.

I’ve continued creating new Moments of Reflection videos — those short, meditative pieces that offer a pause, a breath, a flicker of thought. Each one still shaped with care, still guided by that feeling that less can sometimes say more.

Another step was my first compilation video, bringing all the Moments together into a single piece. It wasn’t paced like the longer narrative videos I hope to make, but it was a proper video — not a short or a reel. Uploading it with my current internet was a challenge of its own and it’s made me seriously consider whether it's time to upgrade.

Then came Nature’s Whispers — even quieter than my earlier pieces. Simple, raw scenes with nothing added. No text, no overlay — just the footage itself. It’s an exercise in being brave enough to let the image stand on its own, and seeing what happens when I do.

And lastly — the website. It’s now updated with all the playlists and should work cleanly across devices. Desktop, mobile, 4K — the lot. It’s simple, but it feels like a proper home now.

Oh, one more thing — I’ve begun laying the foundation for something more connected. There’s now a Buy Me a Coffee page for those who want to support the journey, a growing collection of blog posts to reflect on the process, and a new podcast series. The idea is simple: at the end of each month, Archer and Maia will host a catch-up episode, talking through the blog entries and everything that’s been happening. It’s a way to share the journey — not just the finished videos, but the thoughts and turns along the way.

That’s where things stand. Small steps, maybe — but steady ones.
